Gemma Peters

Gemma Peters is Chief Executive of Macmillan Cancer Support, the UK's leading cancer charity that supported approximately 2.3 million people in 2023. With over 20 years of leadership experience in charity, health, and higher education sectors, Gemma joined Macmillan in January 2023 and has led the development of its new organisational strategy. Gemma is dedicated to addressing health inequities and involving people with lived experience, especially those from marginalised groups, in determining Macmillan's impact. Previously, she served as Chief Executive at Blood Cancer UK and as Executive Director at King's College London and King's Health Partners.
