Ian Howic

Ian Howick leads our core services including finance, governance, and organisational development. Since joining in 2023, he has been central to driving continuous improvement and ensuring KSS remains a resilient, professionally governed charity equipped for long-term growth. A former senior leader at British Airways and Chair of the Heathrow Airport Operators Committee, Ian brings extensive expertise in a wide range of subjects within a regulated environment.

With a background in engineering, treasury, aviation operations and corporate leadership, Ian has led major organisational change across complex high-risk environments. At KSS, Ian is focused on strengthening internal systems, driving operational excellence and ensuring the charity is equipped to deliver its lifesaving vision while setting the standard for sector-wide performance.
