Kathryn Sherratt

Kathryn Sherratt joined RNIB as Chief Financial Officer in April 2025, bringing more than 25 years’ experience across professional services, retail and financial services. Kathryn has held senior leadership roles at major UK institutions including Barclays Bank, the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) and Post Office Limited. A qualified Chartered Accountant, Kathryn has a strong track record in financial leadership, transformation and strategic delivery.

Kathryn began her career with Deloitte advising clients in Manchester, London and Melbourne, Australia, before joining Barclays Bank as Financial Controller for UK Retail, leading major programmes spanning transformation, system migrations, acquisitions and financial strategy. Kathryn later served as Chief Financial Officer and Board member at the FSCS for four years, working closely with government and regulatory stakeholders to support UK financial stability. Most recently, Kathryn was Interim CFO at the Post Office, providing strategic financial leadership during a period of significant organisational change.

Outside work, Kathryn has a strong interest in travel and exploring new cultures.
