Rachel Grocott
Founder & CEO, Pregnant Then Screwed
Rachel joined Pregnant Then Screwed in May 2025 after spending the last twenty years in a variety of communications, campaigning, fundraising and leadership roles at charities both large and small - most recently at Bloody Good Period, where she started out as a part‑time comms whizz while six months pregnant, and helped grow the charity into a leading voice on period inequity. Experiencing firsthand the way misogyny is baked into our societal structures, and the constant juggle of being a working parent, Rachel joined Pregnant Then Screwed to
lead the charity into its next exciting chapter, one rooted in a clear vision: a world where the mothers, parents and families of today and tomorrow thrive. She is determined to confront the reality that too many families are still failed by systems meant to support them, systems that instead embed unfairness and disadvantage across a lifetime, and how this is especially true for those with marginalised identities. Rachel balances working life with a young family, a very energetic rescue dog and regular Zumba classes.
